I have been a Licensed Therapist for over 20 years. I specialize in treating the entire family where addiction is present. I have been the Clinical Supervisor for two different hospital programs: Brotman and San Pedro Peninsula Hospitals. My focus includes teens and their parents. I facilitated a parent group for parents of teens at Insight Treatment Program where I was the Family Therapist for 3 years. In addition, my knowledge of the 12 steps is expansive. Another area of expertise is working with women, empowering them and facilitating their growth in all areas. I also work extensively with couples and young adults.
I have had training in Psychodrama and have facilitated Psychodrama groups for several different hospital programs. Currently I am in private practice with offices in Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks.
In recent years, I have launched a Life Coaching practice. Therapy tends to center around resolving issues of the past through personal reflection whereas coaching focuses more on the present and facilitates individuals to identify their future vision and work toward peak performance goals.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from U.C.L.A. and my Master's from International College. I did my Life Coaching studies at the College of Executive Coaching.
I am a member of Recovery Coaching International, a clinical member of California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and serve as Speaker Coordinator for the Woman's Association for Addiction Treatment in Los Angeles, CA.
